02What we collect

We collect only what we need to reply to you and keep the website working.

  • Details you send through the contact form — your name, the email address or other contact detail you give us, and your message.
  • Correspondence — if you email us, what you tell us and the contact details you use.
  • Basic technical data — like most websites, the servers that host this site may automatically record information such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This is used to keep the site secure and working.

We don't ask for sensitive information through this website — such as bank or card details, government ID numbers, health information or passwords. Please don't include it in messages to us.

03Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and continue the conversation that follows.
  • To understand what you're looking for, so the right person responds.
  • To keep the website secure and working.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We don't use your personal data for advertising, and we don't build profiles of visitors.

04The basis for using it

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent — given when you choose to send the contact form — or for the legitimate uses the law allows, such as responding to a request you've made or complying with a legal obligation.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect what was done before you withdrew it.

05Who we share it with

We don't sell personal data, and we don't share it for advertising.

  • Service providers. We use carefully chosen providers — for example for website hosting, email and form handling — who process data on our behalf and under our instructions.
  • Partners, with your agreement. If your enquiry is best answered together with a partner organisation, we'll ask you before making an introduction.
  • Where the law requires it. We may disclose information to comply with a legal obligation or a lawful request from an authority.

06Where it's kept, and for how long

Some of our service providers may store or process data on servers outside India. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected in line with applicable Indian law.

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and to continue any conversation or work that follows. After that, we delete or anonymise the data unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

07How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security.

If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

08Your rights

Under Indian data protection law, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data of yours we hold and how it's being used;
  • correct, complete or update it;
  • erase it, where we no longer need it or you withdraw consent;
  • address a grievance about how your data has been handled.

You may also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.

To make a request, write to support@sedhya.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. We'll respond as quickly as we reasonably can, and always within the period the law requires.

09Children

This website is intended for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us on your behalf. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children without a parent's or guardian's consent.

10Cookies

This website does not currently use cookies or similar technologies for analytics, advertising or tracking. Our Cookie Policy explains this in full.

11Links to other websites

Our site may link to websites we don't run. Their privacy practices are their own; please read their policies before sharing information with them.

12Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when our practices change, and revise the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll make it clear on the website.

13Contact and grievances

If you have a question, a request or a concern about your personal data, please get in touch.
